What does it mean to stay in peace?

“Stay in Peace” is a place of no distractions, a place void of fear, constant quietness of the soul, harmony of spirit, soul and body, agreement unison with God and His Word. Nothing missing, nothing broken, void of lack. It is a place of rest, contentment, relaxed not moved by sudden surprises, constant flow of peace thoughts, it is a state of “at ease”- soothing, void of anxiousness, void of strife, stress or dissension.

Peace is a state of mind free from annoyances, distractions, frustrations, arguments. It is a state of calmness “calm, cool and collectiveness”. It is a sense of security even during turmoil.

Peace is a state of harmony spirit, soul and body all in one accord void of the noise of anything that would take away peace. It is a stillness. Peace is the presence of God on and in you.

How Do you activate Peace in YOUR life?

Give “Peace” your attention. Get the fear and stress out of your soul, home and life by keeping yourself in the attitude of love and refusing to give attention to thoughts that would cause you to step outside of love and peace. If it is not love…don’t do it! Develop in love by getting to know God and His love for you.

Resist the temptation to acting or responding rudely, practice instead to only act and respond in love (even to yourself).  Practice till it become a habit. It is an effort to exercise these actions of being kind amid anger but as you practice and be consistent, it becomes a habit to respond instead of to re-act.

You choose by your actions to be in control of your emotions instead of letting others or things control you. This comes by starting and continuing and allowing it to become a lifestyle. When you miss it, forgive yourself and keep going forward in love.

What does LOVE have to do with it?

There is no peace outside of love. Developing your love walk will take you to a life of peace. Learn to not focus on fearful things, selfishness or strife. Don’t give energy to fear, strife, anger or any “such like” attitudes with your powerful attention. Train yourself to stay calm, cool and collective. Manage your focus! You can choose what you give attention to. Take responsibility of your thoughts. Practice to stay in the quiet even when you are busy doing things or in the midst of turmoil, or heard bad news. Be attentive to your position and stay in peace.

Your Thoughts are Avenues to Peace…Guard Your Thoughts so They Can Take You to Peace.

Think thoughts that are good positive, life producing, life sustaining, and kind. Don’t let your mind, will and emotions be troubled. Don’t allow your mind to just wander.  Learn to “Stay in the Peace Zone.” Stay out of zones that would steal your peace. Stay on Guard! Guard your peace! Guard your attention! What you think on and talk about, look at and listen to determines if you stay in peace or become troubled. You choose! Train your will to make the right choice to not be moved by your emotions or anything else that would take you from the “Position of Peace”.

Guard the Gates to Your Soul!  This is utmost to maintain peace. Know that anything that comes to steal your peace is just that…it comes to steal. But understand it is not people or even things that steal your peace it is up to you to keep your peace even during what people say, do or act and what things may happen. People say and do things and things happen but they don’t have to get inside of you and steal your peace. Learn to cast away thoughts that comes to steal your peace. Learn to let peace flow from you to others, to any and every situation and circumstance. Keep your peace for it is a precious commodity, valuable and prized possession.

What Are Your Action Steps? This may be an introduction to your ”Peace Journey”. By making the first step…you are on the journey. Spend time with God and the Bible (His Word) and let it show you what true peace is. John chapter 14 tells us to not let our hearts be troubled.

As you go on this journey you will sense a renewing and a refreshing in your soul that affects your body, your life and those around you. As you continue you, will become stronger in peace, as you resist fear, stress, strife, worry and develop in love instead. Understand that God is love and to know Him is to know love and to know peace.

Stay calm, cool and collective, think and talk peace. Be aware of thieves of peace and resist the temptation to go from the Position of Peace to re-act. Respond in love and peace instead.

What will you start on today to bring peace into your mind, your home, your atmosphere and those around you?

Remember people are not the problem even though they may say and do things that would normally take your peace. But you are in control of your mind, your soul, your atmosphere so be encouraged to reach higher and obtain peace and the love you need to go forward in life. Think and speak in love and peace and go about accomplishing peace. Practice in every moment to stay in love and peace.

John 14:1 and 27

Do NOT let your heart be troubled (distressed, agitated). Neither let it be afraid…or unsettled. Believe in Jesus and His Word and see that there is PEACE in Him.
